The NRA Basic Rifle course is your first steps to learning how to handle and use multiple types of rifles. Such as semi-auto, lever action, bolt action and slide action SAFELY.

We will start from the very basics of how a rifle works. We will discover the components that make up a cartridge. You will be instructed in how to properly safely aim, grip and apply pressure to the trigger. We’ll cover the positions used to stabilize you while shooting rifles. Course will include bench shooting, free arm and supported shooting positions.

NO AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM
